Profile: Timaeus the Enchanter is the second son of a baron whose holdings are in the north of Coventry. In Coventry, only the eldest son inherits, and subsequent male children of the nobility are encouraged either to enter the army or to train as magicians.

Timaeus displayed a talent for magic from an early age, and chose the latter route. His father paid for him to attend the Serene University in Celestial City, where he took a master's in the discipline of Fire.

Timaeus is a bit of a firebug; he was always interested in fire as a child, at one point almost burning down his father's mansion. Not surprisingly, his strength as a wizard is in manipulation of the Element of Fire. Indeed, his powers imbue him with great resistance to damage by fire, and he is often somewhat surprised how badly constructed most buildings are -- that is, he will forgetfully cast a spell with the result that something gets burned down around his ears.

He is normally quite apologetic when that happens, and quite willing to recompense the owners.

Effect: Combat spell: Creates a Fire Elemental unit for the duration of the battle. The Elemental has the following strengths: Ranged combat 0, flanking 80, melee 80, defense 40, morale 40. (The Elemental is removed at end of battle if not eliminated before then.)
