If a province contains a Forge, the owner may recruit one additional military unit of each type in that province each turn. That is, it increases the pool of units available for building by one elite unit and one of each of the two standard units of the province's nationality. This is one of the few ways to obtain the barbarian Berserkers.

An exception: The Forge does not allow players to build Vampire Wings or Undead Legions in Ulvir provinces.
