The Sweep of Unhistory - cover and more information! 

Mongoose have posted the cover and some introductory text for the upcoming Sweep of Unhistory mission book, and I must say OTPA Jim has outdone himself on the cover art this time. Go take a look!

A year ago, August, this blog mentioned that James Wallis published under the CC license a copy of one of his games. I'm specifically looking for The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Münchhausen, and am wondering if that too has been released. If not, can James be contacted and politely asked to re-publish it?

That post wasn't on this blog -- it was on Greg Costikyan's own blog, where he announced he had made his RPG Violence, formerly published by James Wallis at Hogshead Publishing, available under a Creative Commons license. James hasn't made Munchhausen available. You might try reaching James through his new undertaking, Magnum Opus Press.

Given James is on honeymoon at the moment, he won't be responding for a while though.

I know Munchausen was/is/will be/was supposed to be, until the Commies got it (delete as appropriate) published by MIT as part of some work on games, and then reprinted by Magnum Opus Press incorporating a new Sinbad variant. So, the Baron's game will be back at some point.
